Growing up on an isolated farm next to the ocean and hiking a lot as a kid, Shoshannah’s life took a turn when she broke her back skiing in Canada. Post-lockdown in 2020, she found herself back in New Zealand travelling out of her stationwagon with a baby in tow. Shoshannah shares about her first overnight hike to Lake Marian in Fiordland – the breakthrough moment when she realised it’s was possible to go hiking and camping with a baby. Now she lives in a bus (it’s name is the Bee’s Knees!) with a 3.5 year old toddler. We talk about hiking with kids, living on the road, having multiple income streams and coping with mental health. I’m convinced Shoshannah is superhuman and after listening to this episode, I’m sure you’ll agree with me too.
